Air Canada To Resume Weekly Haiti Flight


CaribWorldNews, MONTREAL, Canada, Weds. Mar. 3, 2010: Canadians seeking to travel to Haiti can do so, on Air Canada next week.

The airline said Tuesday it will resume scheduled air service to Port-au-Prince, Haiti, starting next Tuesday, March 7th. This comes as the Toussaint Louverture International Airport is resuming limited commercial operations over a month after the devastating January 12th earthquake that claimed over 200,000 lives.

The weekly Air Canada flights between Montreal and the Haitian capital were suspended Jan. 19th.
