Cuba’s Raul Castro Meets With PM Spencer


News Americas, HAVANA, Cuba, Weds. May 25, 2011: Cuba’s President Raul Castro has met with Antigua and Barbuda Prime Minister, Winston Baldwin Spencer in Havana to discuss bilateral relations.

The two leaders expressed, according to state television reports, said they look forward to further cooperation. PM Spencer said he was “hopeful” that this visit would be a chance to “strengthen and perfect” ties between his country and Cuba, established on April 6, 1994.

Spencer wraps up a visit to Cuba on Thursday.
