Cultural Ambassador & Gospel Artiste Bridget Blucher to Host Mother’s Day Boat Ride

Gospel recording artiste, cultural ambassador, humanitarian, and author Bridget Blucher is set to host a special boat ride for mothers across St Vincent and the Grenadines.

The all-white Mother’s Day event, entitled Lift Up Jesus, will take place on Saturday, 10 May. The occasion will include a return trip from St Vincent to Bequia, culminating in a concert beneath the almond tree at Port Elizabeth, Bequia.

The Admiral II will depart Kingstown at 8:30 a.m. and will leave Bequia for the return journey at 4:30 p.m.

The event will also feature performances by Ronnie Richardson and Olrick Pompey.

Tickets are priced at $70 and are available from Spotlight Restaurant on Paul’s Avenue or The Music Centre in Kingstown.

In 2015, Ms Blucher was among five individuals named cultural ambassadors for St Vincent and the Grenadines by the government, in recognition of her contribution to gospel music.
