Governor General Announces Special Voter Registration Period Ahead Of November 27 Poll

Governor General Her Excellency Dame Susan Dougan, G.C.M.G., O.B.E., the head of state, has announced a fifteen-day special voter registration period ahead of the general election on 27 November 2025.
“Notice is hereby given that the period of fifteen (15) days starting tomorrow, 30 October 2025, and ending 13 November 2025 is declared as the period for special voters registration,” the document circulated to the media stated.
“A revised register of voters (preliminary list) will be posted by 1 November 2025 in the various places mentioned in the notice published in the Gazette and the newspapers,” the notice stated.
“Every person who is eighteen years of age or older on or before 13 November 2025 is entitled to be registered as a voter and must ensure that they complete their registration during that period,” the notice dated 29 October 2025 said.
