News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Fri. Nov. 9, 2018: The outgoing coach of the beleaguered West Indies cricket team, had some words of wisdom for the squad as he departed the post this week.

Australian-born coach Stuart Law, 49, who is leaving to join English county side Middlesex as a coach soon, insists the Caribbean side is presently on a transition phase and with time they will only get better.

“West Indies cricket is not about lack of talent. The skill level is always there. It’s about applying that skill, making the right decisions under pressure in the middle of the game,” Law said.

He added that “sooner than later we will get better results, better equipped players.”

His comments come as the Windies again suffered a loss to India this week, this time a crushing 71-run defeat in the second T20 International to concede an unassailable 0-2 lead.
