The opposition New Democratic Party (NDP) is now featured on Spotify and iTunes.
Lavern King, Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the party, told One News SVG that this initiative forms part of the NDP’s ongoing strategy to engage young people and demonstrates that the party is attuned to contemporary trends.
Both iTunes and Spotify are popular music services with substantial subscription bases, primarily among youth.
Through these platforms, listeners can access NDP songs and messages.
St Vincent and the Grenadines has a predominantly youthful population, and both major political parties maintain youth organisations that contribute to shaping youth policies for their respective parties.
For the NDP, the Young Democrats play a central role in mobilising young people to vote and participate actively in the electoral process.
