Solidarity greetings from the government and people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines!

The people of Trinidad and Tobago have spoken decisively in the general elections of April 28, 2025, by electing the United National Congress under your distinguished leadership. Heartiest congratulations to you and your team. You are the victory: UNC wins, the people win. Still, remember, too, the vanquished.

As the CARICOM’s senior Prime Minister, I welcome your return to the highest political councils in our region. I am sure that your contribution will be in accord with the highest standards of leadership to which Trinidad and Tobago has contributed over the past quarter century.

The ancient Hebrew prophet Micah advises that God requires each of us to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God; this view is held, too, in all the world’s major religions. I know you are a deeply spiritual person, and I am certain that you will act in the interest of the people of Trinidad and Tobago, CARICOM, and the world.

Again, a welcomed return, my dear sister Kamla!

All the best to you, your family, the government, and the people.
