Six On Rape Charge In St. Lucia


News Americas, CASTRIES, St. Lucia, Fri. May 20, 2011: Six men between the ages of 24 and 31 have been slapped with rape charges in St. Lucia.

The men are accused of raping two British women who were volunteers on a wildlife project run by a British-based charity. Police said the unnamed suspects wore masks and attacked the women at the Grande Anse beach at midnight last week.

All six will face a court next month.
