The National Emergency Management Organisation – NEMO says a tropical wave will continue to affect the island tonight bringing thunderstorms, rain and moderate to heavy showers.

Sharing imagery posted by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Meteorological Services (Met Office), NEMO says activity is forecast to last into tomorrow.

The state-owned agency said all residents are urged to be alert.

In its 6:00 p.m. weather report, the SVG Met Office said a tropical wave is affecting the islands, and tonight is forecasted to be cloudy and breezy at times with light rain, pockets of moderate to heavy showers, and isolated thunderstorms.

The Met Office said sea conditions are moderate in open water, with swells ranging from 1.5metres to 2 metres.
