Kenna V. Questelles has announced her candidacy for the West St. George constituency in the upcoming elections constitutionally due by 2025, as an independent.
In a December 12 press release, Ms. Questelles is described as an entrepreneur and management professional who has been flying the Vincentian flag high for many years and has been recognized regionally and internationally for her innovative solutions in tackling some of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines’ most pressing issues.
Here is the rest of the release:
Born in Middle Road, Belair, and raised in Fairbaine Pasture, Questelles is no stranger to West St. George. As someone who has always been passionate and intentional about making positive changes in society, Questelles is confident that she will be able to bring about the changes that West St. George needs. She noted, “It is time for less talking and more action!”
Kenna was introduced to the forefront of the political arena in 2022 when she became NDP Women’s Arm Vice President. She also served as the Pro Tempore President of the West St. George Women’s Group. Although no longer affiliated with the New Democratic Party, Questelles understands that West St. George has been neglected for a long time and has continued her mission alongside a team of constituents and well-wishers to drive impact.
Recently, she has been working with entrepreneurs, farmers, and households within the constituency to combat the issue of citrus greening currently affecting the agricultural sector through the Replanting100 Project.
Kenna Questelles believes it is time for West St. George to have a representative who leads with integrity and a genuine concern for its people and development far beyond self-gain and tokenism. She is ready to take charge and join hands with the people of West St. George to bring life back into itscommunities and to ensure that the constituency rises to its fullest potential.
