BREAKING: Student dies in Villa accident

A student has died following an accident involving the vehicle she was traveling in today (December 13) in Villa.

Dead is Reshonna Thompson, a 14-year-old student of Diamond. She attended the St. Vincent Girls’ High School (GHS).

According to well-placed sources, she was a passenger in a vehicle that was driven by her relative.

The vehicle was involved* in a collision with a truck on the main road at Villa on Friday afternoon.

After the accident, the student was taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The driver, a female, is in critical condition at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.

The incident marks the second road fatality for the day.

Early in the morning Olando ‘Lando’ Davis, a 31-year-old conductor of Richland Park, died at the scene after the bus in which he was travelling ran off the road in the Point/Old Sandy Bay Area and plunged into a bank.
