In a significant development for tourism in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, advanced planning is already underway for the installation of the nation’s first zip line.

This announcement was made today (January 15) in Parliament by Carlos James, the Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development, and Culture.

While contributing to the debate on the 2025 Appropriations Bill—commonly referred to as the Budget—Mr. James highlighted his ministry’s commitment to enhancing local and tourist experiences through innovative projects. He emphasized the importance of collaborating with private investors to bring these initiatives to fruition.

Mr. James said the zip line will be located along Diamond Beach, a site known for its natural beauty. Mr. James said that this initiative not only enriches the destination but also significantly enhances the overall tourism product offered by St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

One News SVG spoke with a representative Coastal Adrenaline, the private company currently investing in the Zipline idea. The representative said they are in the phase of conducting feasibility studies for the project.

Coastal Adrenaline is the same company that was the first to bring ATV adventure to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
