India’s High Commissioner Meets PM and Foreign Minister

India’s High Commissioner to St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), Mr. Subhash Gupta, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Dr. Godwin Friday and Foreign Minister Hon. Fitzgerald Bramble, conveying greetings from the Prime Minister of India.

High Commissioner Subhash Gupta stated that the discussions covered the full spectrum of bilateral relations between India and SVG, with emphasis on ongoing cooperation projects, particularly in small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) development and Quick Impact Projects (QIPs); capacity-building initiatives, including ITEC training programmes; implementation of outcomes from the India–CARICOM Summit; enhanced collaboration in the health and agriculture sectors; and strengthening cooperation at multilateral fora.

The High Commissioner also called on the Governor General, extending congratulations on assuming office, and sought guidance for further deepening bilateral ties.
