Her Excellency Frederick Officially Recognized as SVG’s Voice at the UN

Permanent Representative of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the United Nations (UN), Her Excellency Vynnette Frederick, presented her credentials to UN Secretary-General António Guterres on Monday, February 9, 2026, at UN Headquarters in New York. The ceremony officially recognizes her as the voice of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in all matters at the United Nations.

Her Excellency Frederick was publicly announced as Permanent Representative on January 22, 2026, alongside other newly appointed Heads of Mission and Consulate. This distinguished group includes Brereton Horne, High Commissioner-Designate to the United Kingdom; Angella Ideisha Jackson, Ambassador-Designate to the Republic of Cuba; Kenton Chance, Ambassador-Designate to the Republic of China (Taiwan); and Roland Matthews, Consul General-Designate to New York.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs congratulated Her Excellency Frederick on this achievement and expressed its anticipation of her continued leadership in promoting the interests, foreign policy objectives, and development priorities of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on the international stage.
