Man Arrested in Arnos Vale; Shot During Apprehension

A man who was wanted by the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force was arrested earlier today in Arnos Vale.

The suspect has been identified as Sjada Daniel of Prospect.

According to reports, Daniel resisted arrest and attempted to flee when instructed by the police to comply. During the apprehension, he sustained a gunshot wound to the foot, which was visible in a video footage of the incident.

Police previously issued a wanted bulletin stating that Daniel is a person of interest in an ongoing investigation into burglary offenses.
