Police have confirmed that a man was shot tonight in the Kingstown community of Frenches.

The man’s name has not been revealed, but he was taken to hospital. 

The incident is reported to have stemmed from a dispute over a vehicle. 

He was allegedly pursued by the owner of the vehicle and was shot in the process.
