The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has expressed deep concern over the escalating violence in the Middle East, calling on all parties involved to de-escalate tensions and return to meaningful dialogue.
In a formal statement, the Government said it continues to monitor developments closely and urged Vincentian nationals, particularly those living and working in affected regions, to take the necessary precautions to safeguard their safety during this period of volatility.
In alignment with Article 2 of the United Nations Charter, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines joined its Caribbean Community neighbours in expressing concern for all persons impacted by the intensifying conflict. The statement emphasized the importance of upholding international law and prioritizing negotiation over armed confrontation.

The Government expressed particular concern for civilians caught in the crossfire, including Vincentian nationals living and working in Gulf Cooperation Council member states and other countries in the region who may be directly affected by missile strikes.
Officials warned that further escalation could have far-reaching global consequences and stressed that armed conflict in the Middle East would be detrimental not only to the region but to the wider international community.
The Government reaffirmed its call for peace and diplomacy, underscoring that sovereign states have a responsibility, especially in times of disagreement, to choose dialogue over war.
