Two females, including a form five student are now patients at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital after being involved in an accident in Kingstown tonight (June 20).
Preliminary reports are that one of the females, 19, who has been identified as Tamaika Cupid, was a bystander while the other, a student, was on the back of the motorbike that crashed.
The bystander (Ms. Cupid), who was reportedly waiting for transportation to get home, suffered multiple injuries to her legs. The passenger, the student, is said to be stable.
The driver of the motorbike that crashed is reported to be relatively unharmed.
The incident occurred on Grenville Street, opposite Subway restaurant area.
