The family of 11-year-old Wayzaro Cupid is appealing to the public for financial assistance as the young girl continues a courageous battle with cancer that has now lasted one year and five months.
According to the appeal, Wayzaro has been unable to attend school throughout much of her treatment. Despite the challenges she has faced, her family says she remains determined to recover and return to the classroom.
“Her greatest wish is to recover, return to school, and make her family, school community, and everyone who believes in her proud,” the appeal states.
The family says the financial burden of ongoing cancer treatment has become overwhelming and is asking members of the public to assist in any way they can. They emphasise that donations of any amount will help to offset medical expenses and support Wayzaro’s continued care.

Persons wishing to contribute or obtain further information are encouraged to contact Wayzaro’s mother, Imanan Cupid by calling 1 784 528 1092.
The appeal also notes that those who are unable to make a financial contribution are invited to keep Wayzaro in their prayers and share her story with others in the hope of reaching more potential supporters.
“Any monetary donation, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in helping to cover her medical expenses and support her ongoing care,” the appeal adds.
