Layou Man Found Dead After Apparent Fall From Porch

A 52-year-old Layou man was found dead on Tuesday after he reportedly fell from the porch where he was known to sleep.

Preliminary information indicates that the deceased has been identified as Renold Quashie, who reportedly had an amputated leg.

He was also known by the alias “Bagga”.

Sources familiar with the matter told One News that Quashie was accustomed to sleeping on the porch of a residence in Ruthland Vale, Layou. Early indications suggest he may have accidentally fallen from the porch, although the exact circumstances surrounding his death have not yet been established.

Police are expected to conduct investigations to determine the precise cause and circumstances of the death.

No official statement had been issued by the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force up to the time of publication.
