Free Health Screenings and Eye Tests Coming to Kingstown This Saturday

Vincentians will have access to free health screenings, eye tests and health education when Christ Embassy Group Church 2 hosts its Day of Blessing Health Fair on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Peace Memorial Hall in Kingstown.

The event, which begins at 11:00 a.m., is being held in collaboration with the Volunteer Medical Corps and is free and open to the public.

Attendees will be able to access blood-pressure and blood-sugar checks, rapid HIV and syphilis testing, general health checks, eye tests and vision screening.

Personnel from the Ministry of Health will support the testing and health-education components of the programme, while Renewed Vision Eye Clinic will provide the eye tests and vision-screening services.

The health fair will also feature health education sessions covering diabetes awareness, sexual health and healthy living. Health professionals and volunteers will share practical steps people can take to protect their health and lower their risk of preventable illness.

In addition to the health services, the programme will include the message of Jesus Christ, prayer and spiritual ministry. Special prayers will be offered for people who are ill and believing God for healing, as well as those seeking prayer concerning other areas of their lives.

A raffle draw featuring several prizes will also be held during the fair. Tickets cost EC$5, with bundle deals available.

The Day of Blessing Health Fair will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, 26 September, at Peace Memorial Hall in Kingstown.
