Barrouallie Anglican Wins Tourism Choral Speech Competition

The Barrouallie Anglican School captured the challenge trophy and a printer for their school as they emerged winners of the 2024 Tourism Choral Speech competition at the Peace Memorial Hall this morning.

The school also won the Best Choral Speech category while Sonnor Delplesche of the of the Barrouallie Anglican School received the Most Outstanding Student Award.

Second place went to The CW Prescod Primary School, whose student, Jamara Tash, received the award for being the Most Expressive Choral Speaker .

Third place went to the Sion Hill Government School.

The competition was held with the theme “Promoting Cultural Exchange Through Tourism” as activities continue during the month of November to observe Tourism Month.
