Police have confirmed that the body of a male was discovered in the Marriaqua community of Hopewell of Marriaqua this morning.
Police have not yet released the person’s identity, but One News SVG understands that the man has been identified as Lorenzo Lewis.
He was reportedly found in his home.
The circumstances surrounding the person’s death are unclear, but sources say the body has what appears to be gunshot wounds. (Updated)
The news comes after a man reportedly fell off a wall and died on New Year’s Day in Richland Park, also located in Marriaqua.
