Davies appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on Friday, March 20, 2026, where he pleaded guilty to the offences.
He was remanded into custody, and the matter was adjourned to the Serious Offences Court on Monday, March 23, 2026, for sentencing.
Cocaine in SVG
St. Vincent and the Grenadines is not known to produce cocaine, but it’s waters is part of a major drug trafficking route from South America to North America.
In recent times, the US Southern Command carried out kinetic strikes which it claims destroyed vessels involved in narcotrafficking.
After one particular strike, on February 13, it was reported that cocaine washed up on the shores of SVG in several places.
Politicians have publicly warned people against collecting or storing any of the illegal substances.
In February 2026, according to iWitness News, Deputy Prime Minister St. Clair Leacock announced an amnesty for cocaine found at sea.

In mid-February 2026, an incident arose where two civilians were caught with cocaine. It is not clear where they got the illegal substances.
In that case, the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) conducted a joint operation in West Kingstown on Monday, February 16th, 2026, involving the Narcotics Unit, the Rapid Response Unit, and the Special Services Unit. The operation resulted in the recovery of 22.9 pounds of cocaine.
The seizure led to the arrest of two 36-year-old men: Sebastian “Bush” Audain of Lowmans Bay and Alvin Cyrus of Largo Height. Both men were charged with possession and trafficking of a controlled drug.
But, SVG’s cocaine busts and stories are not few and far between and have been making the news well before the US Kinetic strikes.
For instance, in January 2022, there was a cocaine haulin the North Windward community of Owia. Police discovered approximately 60 kilograms of cocaine hidden in a barrel at the Owia Health Clinic, and a nurse was arrested and pleaded guilty to possession charges.
