Police said that on January 5, 2025, they arrested and charged Azim Alexander, a 22-year-old Bus Conductor of Victoria Village, with the offence of Assault.
In a January 6 press release, the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said:
“Investigations revealed that the accused assaulted Frankisha Audain, a 31-year-old Labourer of the same address by beating her about the body with a piece of board, causing Actual Bodily Harm. The offence was committed in Victoria Village on December 17, 2024.”
“Alexander is expected to appear before the Kingstown Magistrate Court to answer the charge”.
In our jurisprudence, a person charged with committing a crime is innocent unless/until proven guilty by a court of law.

Fitz Hughes Farmer Charged with Assault
On January 3, 2025, police arrested and charged Aubery Walters, a 51-year-old Farmer of Fitz Hughes, with the offence of Assault.
Investigations revealed that on December 2, 2024, in Chateaubelair, the accused assaulted Anthony Harry, a 43-year-old Farmer by striking him on the left side of his body and neck with stones, causing Actual Bodily Harm.
Walters was granted station bail in the sum of $1,500.00ECC with one surety. He is expected to appear before the Chauteaubelair Magistrate Court on January 15, 2025.
Colonarie Resident Charged with Damage to Property
On January 3, 2025, police arrested and charged Denika Samuels, a 27-year-old unemployed resident of Colonarie, with the offence of Damage to Property.
Investigations revealed that between January 1, 2025, and January 2, 2025, the accused, without lawful excuse, damaged property belonging to Deno Walker, a 45-year-old Mechanic of the same address. Damaged items included a black JBL speaker valued at $1,000.00 ECC, a 3×3 glass sliding window valued at $400.00 ECC, and a black and orange standing fan valued at $150.00 ECC, totaling $1,550.00 ECC. The accused allegedly smashed the items with an unknown object at a residence in Colonarie.
Samuels is expected to appear before the Kingstown Magistrate Court to answer the charge.
Colonarie Mechanic Charged with Grievous Bodily Harm
On January 3, 2025, police arrested and charged Deno Walker, a 45-year-old Mechanic of Colonarie, with the offence of Grievous Bodily Harm.
Investigations revealed that on January 1, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m., in Park Hill, the accused unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm on Denika Samuels, a 27-year-old unemployed resident of the same address, by striking her on the face and mouth with his hands.
Walker appeared before the Georgetown Magistrate Court where he pleaded not guilty. The matter was transferred to the Colonaire Magistrate Court for February 13, 2025.
