Houston Dynamo FC has appointed Ezra Hendrickson as First Team Assistant Coach, following his resignation from the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Senior Men’s National Team earlier this month, a release on the club’s website announced.

Club President of Soccer Pat Onstad welcomed Hendrickson’s arrival, noting his “deep MLS experience and proven ability to elevate teams.” Head Coach Ben Olsen added that Hendrickson’s leadership qualities and tactical insight will strengthen the Dynamo’s technical staff as the team pushes for success in the 2026 season.

“Ezra’s move underscores our commitment to building a staff with international pedigree and championship experience. Across his coaching career, he has contributed to 16 trophies at both the domestic and international level, including MLS Cup and U.S. Open Cup triumphs, we are confident his leadership and winning mentality will strengthen our technical team and inspire our players.” he further stated.

The SVGFF announced on March 7 that Hendrickson had stepped down after guiding the national side through Concacaf Nations League fixtures and the recently concluded Under‑20 Men’s campaign.

The SVGFF has confirmed that First Assistant Coach Wade Jackson has been named caretaker head coach, leading the Vincy Heat in upcoming Concacaf Series friendlies against Bonaire (March 26) and Barbados (March 29).
