A local non-profit organization founded by Mrs. Cherry-Ann Pompey-Delpeche is celebrating thirteen years of supporting vulnerable families and communities across the country.

Reflecting on its thirteen years of service, the organisation shared that since its inception, it has assisted more than 400 families, providing essential items such as clothing, baby and children’s supplies, diapers, bedding, footwear, food, school materials, books, toys, scooters, and sports gear.

Mrs. Pompey-Delpeche recalled why the organisation was created. “Our mission has always been grounded in compassion and advocacy,” she said. “What began as a simple idea shared between my sister and me, sending supplies to individuals in need, has grown into a thriving charitable initiative. Drawing on my background in social work and my current work as a counsellor, advocacy for vulnerable populations became a natural and essential focus of our efforts.”

Through her professional experience, Mrs. Pompey-Delpeche became increasingly aware of the extensive and often unmet needs within communities, reinforcing the importance of supporting not only mental and emotional well-being but also addressing practical challenges through tangible assistance. As a result, the organisation continues to provide holistic support that responds to both immediate needs and long-term well-being.

Over the years, the organisation has carried out numerous projects to support children, families, and communities. Its “Pack-a-Bag per Child” programme provided school bags filled with essential supplies to approximately 150 students, while T-shirts were also distributed to boys across various schools as part of a development programme.

During times of crisis, including the volcanic eruption and the devastation caused by Hurricane Beryl, the charity provided vital relief to families and shelters with assistance from Canada, AGAPE UK–SVG, and personal supporters in England.

More recently, in January 2026, the organisation donated sports gear to local football teams, educational books to Evesham Methodist School, toys for a student reward programme, and essential newborn supplies to underprivileged parents.

Scooters were also gifted to children, spreading joy that was especially evident during the Christmas season and into January, as smiles, hugs, and words of appreciation reflected the real impact of the charity’s work.

Looking to the future, Mrs. Pompey-Delpeche reaffirmed that “as long as there are lives in need, our mission remains clear: to serve, to uplift, and to remind the world that compassion still has the power to change everything.” She added, “Every bag packed, every child clothed, every family supported is a reminder that meaningful change begins when ordinary people decide to care.”

The organisation expressed sincere gratitude to its partners, supporters, and the families whose inspiration and encouragement continue to guide its work.
