Man dead after “massive gunfire” in Brighton area

A man is dead after being shot at multiple times in the East St. George area of Brighton. 

The incident took place tonight (February 7).

The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently unclear at this time, but reports are that there was “heavy gunfire” after which a man was found on the ground with injuries.

The victim has only been identified by the alias Beenie Man.

Police have responded to the incident and are investigating. 

The incident comes less than 24 hours after another man was killed in the Mesopotamia area of the Marriaqua Valley.
