Police say one person is currently in custody, assisting with the investigation into the fatal wounding of 21-year-old Glen resident Ronaldo Adams.
Mr Adams was wounded at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 14 May 2025, following an altercation near a barber shop in Glen.
In a press release dated 15 May, the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said preliminary reports indicate that Adams sustained several chop wounds to his body following the altercation.
He was later taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (M.C.M.H) by individuals at the scene, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police say they promptly responded to the report and secured the scene. The Crime Scene Unit (CSU) attended the location and processed the area, collecting items of evidential value.

“One person is currently in police custody assisting with the investigation. A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out to ascertain the exact cause of death. Investigations are ongoing,” police said.
The identity of the individual has not yet been revealed. Usually, a suspect’s name is released after a charge is laid.
Residents told One News SVG that the altercation occurred due to a disagreement over access to a Plumrose tree, which neither the victim nor the perpetrator owns.
Police say anyone with information that could assist the investigation is encouraged to contact the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at 784-456-1810, the Calliaqua Police Station at 784-458-4200, Police Emergency at 911/999, or any police station or officer they trust.
The RSVGPF said it extends its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
