The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is calling on Vincentians and residents to take part in a public solidarity rally aimed at promoting peace, sovereignty, and non-intervention in the Caribbean.
The rally, organised in collaboration with the Solidarity Movement of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, will be held on Tuesday, February 3, at 5:00 p.m., outside the Venezuelan Institute for Culture and Cooperation “Hugo Chávez Frías” on Murray’s Road, next to the NDP Headquarters.
According to the organisers, the event forms part of the Global Solidarity Campaign Against Interventionism in the Caribbean and aligns with the international #BringThemBack campaign. The initiative seeks to raise awareness about what organisers describe as interventionist policies by the Government of the United States and to express support for Venezuela’s sovereignty and constitutional order.
Participants are expected to reaffirm their commitment to peace, self-determination, and respect for international law, while calling on the global community to respect Venezuela’s institutions and the democratic will of its people. The rally will also highlight opposition to military threats, economic coercion, visa restrictions, and unilateral sanctions.
Organisers say the activity is also intended to strengthen regional unity and to highlight the importance of dialogue, non-intervention, and solidarity among the peoples and governments of the Caribbean and Latin America.
Community members, social organisations, and friends of Venezuela and the wider Caribbean are invited to attend and stand in solidarity with the people of Venezuela.
