A woman was shot dead in the Murray’s Village community last night (October 29).
Villagers said they heard several gunshots which were followed by screams and wailing.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear, but police are investigating.
The woman has been identified as Marilyn John, a vendor and business woman who operated in the Arnos Vale area.
One of her sons, Jomarl John was shot and killed earlier this year in the Arnos Vale area, One News SVG was told by sources close to the family.
