Police arrested and charged Doriel Duncan, a 17-year-old student of Barrouallie, with the offence of wounding on March 2, 2026.
Police say the accused unlawfully and maliciously wounded a 17-year-old student of the same address by stabbing her in the neck with a knife. The matter resurfaced after the victim recently died in hospital.
Duncan appeared before the Serious Offences Court on March 3, 2026, where she was granted bail in the sum of $15,000.00 ECC with one surety. She was ordered to report to the Barrouallie Police Station every Tuesday and Thursday between 8:00am and 8:00pm.
The offence occurred in Peters Hope on November 28, 2024.
The matter was adjourned to April 2, 2026.
