Mother accused of kidnapping says it’s a big misunderstanding

A mother who police say is a person of interest in an alleged kidnapping says the issue is one big misunderstanding.

The mother, Ms. Shanika Neverson told One News SVG on Monday that she went to visit her child who is not currently staying with her.

The child expressed an interest to leave with her.

At the time of this publication , the child was reportedly already on the way back to mainland, St. Vincent.

Due to the sensitivities involved in the matter, nothing more can be reported at this time on the matter.

The public is being asked to exercise their due diligence and patience regarding the matter.

This is a separate matter from the previous alleged kidnapping report where a man was declared wanted by police.
