St Vincent and the Grenadines has a new bragging right on the regional tourism stage. Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has been voted Caribbean’s Leading All-Inclusive Resort 2026 at the World Travel Awards Caribbean & The Americas, beating competition from across the region.

It was not the resort’s only win. The property also took home St Vincent & The Grenadines’ Leading All-Inclusive Resort 2026 and St Vincent & The Grenadines’ Leading Wedding Hotel 2026, giving it three titles in total.

The honours came during a busy week for Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts, which earned a combined 27 awards across the 2026 World Travel Awards Caribbean & The Americas, the World MICE Awards and the World Culinary Awards. The awards recognise excellence across the brands’ Caribbean resorts and experiences, covering everything from all-inclusive holidays and romantic getaways to family travel, dining and group travel.

Big investment in Jamaica

This year’s ceremonies held special meaning for the company, as they were hosted in Jamaica, where the Sandals brand was born and where its next phase of growth is focused.

Sandals Resorts is spending US$200 million to reimagine three of its Jamaican properties under its Sandals 2.0 vision. Sandals South Coast will reopen to guests on 18 November 2026. Sandals Montego Bay and Sandals Caribbean Cay, formerly Sandals Royal Caribbean, will follow on 18 December 2026.

The upgrades include improved accommodation, refreshed resort spaces and new dining concepts that celebrate Jamaica’s culinary heritage. The company describes the changes as the start of a new era for the brand and a renewal of its long-standing commitment to the island it calls home.
