The National Parks, Rivers, and Beaches Authority (NPRBA) has announced plans to host a major family event for Easter 2025 at the Botanical Garden in Kingstown.

The annual event will take place this year on Saturday, 19 April, starting at 10:00 a.m. It forms part of the celebrations marking the 260th anniversary of the Garden’s establishment.

Ms Twanique Barrow, Marketing Officer at NPRBA, shared with One News SVG that the event promises to be a day filled with fun for the entire family. She highlighted that attendees can look forward to games, crafts, rides, prizes, movies, and photos with the Easter Bunny. The main attraction will be the Easter egg hunt, scheduled to begin at 12:00 noon for children aged 3 to 12. Additionally, there will be special activities for children under the age of three.

Ms. Barrow stated that admission fees are set at $5 for children and $10 for adults. She added: “We have special Bunny Packages available for $25 and $35. For those who prefer not to purchase a full Bunny Package, there is a $20 option, which includes entrance, a basket, and a wristband to participate in the egg hunt.” She also noted that prices will increase at the gate.

“Packages can be purchased either at the National Parks Authority office in Stoney Grounds or at the Botanical Garden Administrative Office,” Ms. Barrow explained. “You can reserve your Bunny Packages by calling 453-1623.”

Businesses interested in supporting or sponsoring the event are encouraged to contact NPRBA. Ms. Barrow remarked: “We would love to have you involved. This is a wonderful opportunity to participate in a cherished tradition while celebrating 260 years of St Vincent Botanical Gardens.”
