Popular Deejay charged with attempted murder

Mr. Rohan Cornwall, a popular disc jockey known as DJ Kano was charged with attempted murder.

Mr. Cornwall appeared before the Serious Offenses Court in Kingstown this morning (March 24), where he was charged with intent to commit the offence of Murder on Gailann Walters-Cornwall of Green Hill.

He was not allowed to enter a plea for the indictable offense.

The charge comes after an incident on Thursday, March 20 where Mrs. Cornwall received multiple chop wounds about her body at Green Hill and was taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The offense was allegedly committed by Mr. Cornwall.

He was granted bail in the sum of $15,000.00 . The matter has been adjourned to the 6 May 2025.

In a video posted on a Facebook page named Rohan Djkano Cornwall, the voice of a man is heard saying:

“I am not happy for what I did. I am not pleased with what I did , but this is too much wickedness against me.”

“I have worked so hard in life to build where I am today to be disrespected this way. I don’t cheat on this woman. All I do is stay focused even do she do me so much wrong,” the voice is heard saying.

“I urge all the young people out here, do not rush things in life . You finished school, save your money and build your life . Make yourself unstoppable in terms of education and wealth before you start studying women and all theee things . Spend your money wisely,” the voice further lamented.
