Rajah Caruth, a rising NASCAR driver with Vincentian heritage, has been named an official ambassador for St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) in a new partnership aimed at boosting SVG’s global visibility through motorsport and media.
Caruth, 23, has quickly emerged as one of the sport’s promising young drivers, rising from online racing simulators to competing at the professional level in NASCAR. In 2024, he recorded his first NASCAR national series win. By doing so, he became the first Caribbean-American to win a NASCAR national series race.
The partnership will see the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority team up with TEMPO Networks to feature SVG branding on Caruth’s racing assets throughout the NASCAR season, providing international exposure through televised events viewed by millions worldwide.

TEMPO Networks, a Caribbean-based media platform, has spent two decades producing and distributing content focused on regional culture, lifestyle, and entertainment, reaching audiences across the Caribbean and its diaspora.
The initiative is also designed to connect SVG with global audiences through storytelling, cultural promotion, and sports marketing, with TEMPO Networks set to document and amplify Caruth’s journey across its platforms.
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority said the partnership will highlight both Caruth’s rising career in motorsport and his Vincentian heritage, while also promoting the country as a tourism destination.
Minister of Tourism, Dr. Kishore Shallow, welcomed the collaboration, noting that Caruth’s rise reflects the character of the nation. He said, “We are proud of Rajah’s journey thus far as an emerging force on the global stage. Partnering with him and TEMPO marks a significant milestone, with tremendous potential ahead. Rajah embodies the energy and ambition of our people, and his story is a powerful reflection of who we are. Showcasing his journey through TEMPO Networks to audiences worldwide is both inspiring and impactful, further positioning our country as a vibrant and compelling tourist destination.”

TEMPO Networks founder Frederick A. Morton Jr. also highlighted the broader cultural significance of the partnership, stating, “For 20 years, TEMPO has been amplifying Caribbean culture to the world, and this partnership reflects exactly where we’re going next. Rajah is an extraordinary young talent whose rise is inspiring a new generation, and St. Vincent & the Grenadines is one of the Caribbean’s most breathtaking and dynamic destinations. Through this partnership, we are connecting the Caribbean to new audiences, new markets, and new possibilities.”
Caruth expressed pride in the opportunity, saying, “It means a lot to officially be able to represent St Vincent and the Grenadines and TEMPO, and hopefully drive not just tourism country but awareness to the Caribbean diaspora and community. I am proud of my heritage and exude it daily with my practices and core values.”
The partnership will officially launch on May 2 at the Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 at Texas Motor Speedway, with planned activations including documentary-style coverage, a visit to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, youth mentorship initiatives, and STEM-focused engagement through his “Racing with Rajah” program.
Additional co-branded tourism and cultural content is expected to roll out throughout the season, targeting both Caribbean audiences and the global diaspora.
