The Vincentian Students’ Association (VINSA) at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Cave Hill Campus, is inviting Vincentian students preparing to begin their university studies in Barbados to attend its annual Freshers’ Orientation on Friday, August 8, 2026.
The orientation is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at the UWI Global Campus in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and is intended to help new students prepare for the transition to university life at UWI Cave Hill.
VINSA said the orientation will provide students with “all the tips and insider knowledge” needed to help them settle into life at UWI Cave Hill.
The event is aimed at Vincentian students who will be enrolling at the Barbados-based campus for the upcoming academic year. Students attending the session will also have an opportunity to learn more about the support available through the association, connect with fellow Vincentians and ask questions before departing for university.
The association is encouraging all Vincentian students heading to UWI Cave Hill this academic year to attend the session, which it said will equip them with “all the tips and insider knowledge” needed to make a smooth transition to university life.
