A 16-year-old girl is recovering in hospital after she was shot during a gun attack in Kingstown in the early hours of Sunday.
Initial reports indicate that unknown assailants opened fire on a vehicle in the vicinity of the Grenadines Wharf. The teenager, who is not believed to have been the intended target, sustained gunshot wounds during the incident.
The individual believed to have been targeted escaped. Their condition is unknown.
The injured teen was rushed to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery. Her current condition is unknown.
