Police have launched an investigation into the fatal shooting of Arnos Vale businessman Peter Minors, who died after being shot multiple times at his home early Saturday morning.
Minors, 48, was reportedly shot at approximately 2:45 a.m. at his residence in Arnos Vale. He was rushed to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, where he received medical treatment but later succumbed to his injuries.
The businessman, who was widely known as “Wanky”, operated a business opposite Randy’s in Arnos Vale.
The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Detectives have not disclosed a possible motive or indicated whether any suspects have been identified.
A post-mortem examination is expected to determine the exact cause of death.
Police are appealing to anyone with information that could assist the investigation to come forward, stressing that even details that may appear insignificant could prove valuable.
The RSVGPF also extended condolences to Minors’ family, relatives and friends as investigations continue.
