Students Interested in SVGCC Encouraged to Join Upcoming 2026 Admissions Sessions


SVGCC to Host Live Admissions Session Ahead of 2026 Application Period

Prospective students seeking to enrol at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) will have several opportunities to learn more about the institution’s programmes before applications open later this month.
The College has announced a series of admissions activities for the 2026 intake, covering programmes offered by the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies (DASGS), the Division of Technical and Vocational Education (DTVE), and the Centre for General and Continuing Education (CGCE).
The first event will be a live information session on Monday, August 17, beginning at 10 a.m. The online session will provide details on available programmes, the application and registration process, and other key information for prospective students. It will be accessible via Zoom and streamed live on Facebook.
Two days later, on Wednesday, August 19, the College will host an Academic Advising session from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the DTVE campus in Arnos Vale. During the event, prospective students will be able to meet lecturers and receive one-on-one guidance to help them choose programmes that best match their interests and career goals.
Applications for DASGS and DTVE programmes will open online at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, and close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, August 24.
Meanwhile, the CGCE will accept online applications for its College Access Programme: Pathways to Success (CAPPS) from Sunday, August 30, to Sunday, September 6.
The SVGCC is encouraging prospective students, along with their parents and guardians, to take advantage of the information session and academic advising opportunities.
The College also advised applicants to visit its website and follow its official social media pages for updates on programmes and the admissions process.
