Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in St Vincent and the Grenadines and across the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) now have more time to apply for grant funding under the Regional MSME Matching Grants Programme.

The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission has extended the deadline for the programme’s Second Call for Proposals (Window 2) from Friday, July 3, 2026, to Friday, July 24, 2026, with applications to be submitted by 11:59 p.m.

The programme is being implemented through the Unleashing the Blue Economy of the Caribbean (UBEC) Project, a regional initiative funded by the World Bank.

According to the OECS Commission, the Matching Grants Programme is designed to support eligible MSMEs operating within the blue economy by providing grant financing to strengthen business growth, improve productivity, foster innovation, increase competitiveness and build resilience.

Eligible value chain groups operating in the fisheries, marine tourism and waste management sectors can access matching grants ranging from US$100,000 to US$150,000 to support collaboration, innovation, business expansion and the creation of sustainable economic opportunities.

Entrepreneurs and business owners who have not yet applied are being encouraged to use the additional time to complete their applications and submit all required supporting documents before the new deadline.

Applications must be submitted electronically to the email address [email protected] by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026. For additional information, including programme guidelines and eligibility requirements, email [email protected].

The Regional MSME Matching Grants Programme forms part of the UBEC Project, which seeks to unlock new opportunities for businesses operating within the Caribbean’s blue economy through targeted investment and business development support across participating OECS Member States.
