A Vincentian family is appealing to the public for financial assistance to help a mother undergo a life-saving heart transplant, as they work to raise the funds needed for the critical procedure.
Kelly-Ann Jacob has launched an online fundraising campaign on behalf of her mother, Amanda Jacobs, who urgently requires a heart transplant. According to the appeal, the family has been making every effort to raise the money needed for the surgery but remains US$1,000 short of its target.
The fundraiser aims to raise a total of US$2,000 to help cover the cost of Amanda Jacobs’ treatment.
In a heartfelt message shared with the campaign, Kelly-Ann said every contribution, regardless of its size, would help bring her mother one step closer to receiving the care she urgently needs.
She also appealed to members of the public who may be unable to make a financial contribution to support the effort by sharing the fundraiser with relatives, friends and the wider community.
