Eleven members of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) have been honoured after reaching 32 years of dedicated service to the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The officers, members of Course 13, joined the organisation on July 15, 1994, and were recognised on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, for their commitment, professionalism, and contributions to law enforcement over more than three decades.
Those honoured are Assistant Commissioner of Police Hesran Ballantyne, Lieutenant William Theobalds, Assistant Superintendent of Police Juliana Browne-Charles, Sub-Lieutenant Kenlet Francis, Station Sergeant Brenton Smith, Station Sergeant Hanif Johnson, Sergeant 554 Dorothy Walker-Simmons, Sergeant 366 Rohan Giles, Sergeant 267 Maurice Cupid, Sergeant 374 Phillip King and Sergeant 532 Verrol Thomas.
According to the RSVGPF, the officers have served in a range of roles throughout the organisation, demonstrating professionalism, commitment, courage and resilience while helping to strengthen the police force and enhance public safety across the country.
In a statement, the Commissioner of Police, on behalf of the Executive, officers, and civilian staff of the RSVGPF, extended heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to the group.
“Their years of sacrifice, integrity, and commitment to duty serve as an inspiration to both their colleagues and the next generation of police officers,” the statement said.
The police force also expressed gratitude to the officers for their invaluable contributions and wished them continued success, good health, and God’s richest blessings as they continue to serve with honour and distinction.
Reflecting on the significance of the milestone, the RSVGPF stated, “Thirty-two years of dedicated service is more than a milestone—it is a testament to unwavering commitment, selfless sacrifice, and steadfast dedication to protecting and serving the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.”
