BREAKING: Missing Park Hill Man Found Dead After 13-Day Search

The body of 74-year-old Eustace Cain, affectionately known as “Brain”, who was reported missing from his Park Hill home nearly two weeks ago, has been found.

Well-placed sources confirmed to One News SVG that Mr. Cain’s body was discovered by residents in the Belle Vue area on Saturday afternoon, 18 July, approximately 13 days after he was last seen.

According to information obtained, the body was found in an advanced state of decomposition. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

Mr. Cain, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, was reported missing after leaving his home at about 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, 5 July. His disappearance prompted an urgent public appeal from the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, which had expressed concern for his safety because of his medical condition.

Police are expected to issue an official statement on the discovery.

The death has brought a tragic end to the search for the elderly Park Hill resident and is likely to be deeply felt by his family, friends and the wider community.
