BREAKING: Invest SVG Executive Director Anna Young Resigns with Immediate Effect

By Admin. Updated 8:27 a.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2026, Atlantic Standard Time (GMT-4).
Invest SVG has confirmed that its Executive Director, Anna Young, has resigned with immediate effect, ending days of public speculation about her future with the investment promotion agency.
The announcement was made in a media release issued on Wednesday (September 16), by Invest SVG.
It comes after the April 2026 appointment and onboarding of Ms. Young.
The agency also announced that Mrs Nadine Agard-Juillerat, Director of Export Marketing and Promotions, has been appointed Acting Executive Director. She will oversee the organisation’s day-to-day operations while arrangements are made for the leadership transition.
Invest SVG said it remains committed to carrying out its mandate of attracting and facilitating investment, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with investors and partners at the local, regional and international levels.
The agency thanked Young for her service and contributions during her tenure and wished her success in her future endeavours.
No reason for her resignation was disclosed in the statement. However, it comes after much public discussion over alleged strained relations with members of the Board of Directors of the national investment promotion agency.
Invest SVG is the Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines’ investment promotion agency, responsible for attracting and facilitating investments aimed at supporting the country’s economic growth and development.
