Argyle International Airport is currently operating on a reduced schedule, with all flights restricted to daylight hours only until April 24, 2026.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, April 21, Argyle International Airport Inc. advised the travelling public, airlines, and stakeholders that the temporary change was implemented following a technical issue affecting the runway lighting system.

As a result, a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) has been issued restricting all airport operations to the period between sunrise and sunset. The measure is being treated as a precaution to ensure safe flight operations while the issue is being addressed.

The airport said technical teams are actively working to resolve the problem and restore normal operating hours as quickly as possible. Management is also coordinating with airlines and other relevant partners in an effort to minimise disruption to passengers.

Travellers are being encouraged to contact their airlines directly for the latest updates on flight schedules.

The airport apologised for any inconvenience caused and thanked the public for its patience and understanding during the temporary adjustment.

Normal operations are expected to resume once the issue is resolved, following the April 24 deadline.
