Hairouna Film Festival opens

The Annual Hairouna Film Festival will begin tonight with an event dubbed Caribbean Movie Night.

The event will see a mixture of short films of different genres that explore themes rooted in the diversity and universality of the Caribbean experience.

Organizers say the feature film of the night “When Morning Comes” by acclaimed award-winning Canadian Writer/Director, Kelly Fyffe-Marshall.

Vincentian Movie Night tomorrow will feature ten original Vincentian stories which organizers say will be both thought-provoking and exhilarating.

Vincentian Filmmaker Akley Olton is encouraging the public to support the Festival tonight and tomorrow night at Flowt Beach Bar.
