The Intermediate High School partnered with several reputable business organisations to give back to the community as part of its centennial anniversary celebrations on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

Students and teachers, along with their partners, visited homes for the elderly and communities facing socio-economic challenges, with the aim of reminding residents that they are not forgotten.

During the visits, students engaged residents through prayer and song, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere. Care packages, food hampers and bouquets were distributed, offering both practical support and moments of comfort.

The activity also served as a valuable learning experience, encouraging students to recognise the importance of giving back to those who have contributed to the country’s development. It reinforced the values of compassion, service and community spirit.

The effort reflects the philosophy of Dr J. P. Eustace, whose emphasis on service and nation-building continues to shape the school’s vision. His belief that education should inspire individuals to uplift others was evident throughout the day.

Partners included Browne and Browne Law Firm, Dr Lenoir Anderson, Dr Junior Ackie, GECCU, KCCU, Building and Loan, Mr Jonathan Lewis and Sunrise Bakery.

The school expressed heartfelt appreciation to its partners for their generous support, noting that the collaboration helped to bring care and encouragement to many as it celebrates 100 years of service.
