Renowned Vincentian singer Judy Boucher has been announced as the headline act for a Mother’s Day concert at the Botanical Garden on Sunday, May 11, 2025.

The concert dubbed Once in a Blue Moon is themed “Strength of a Woman”, and is being organised by promoters Blue Moon Entertainment for the second consecutive year.

This year’s headliner, Judy Boucher, is a lover’s rock and R&B singer who has released several singles that have performed well on charts in the United Kingdom and elsewhere. These include “Can’t Be With You Tonight” and “Dreaming of a Little Island”.

The line-up also features Bomani, who was a crowd favourite at last year’s show, as well as Fyah Empress and Saeed Bowman.
One of the organisers, Mr Christo Primus, said patrons can expect an amazing experience for mothers.

He stated that mothers attending the event will receive a complimentary drink on entry, and there will be surprise gifts for some patrons.
The show will commence at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are available at Chill Spot, Cell World, Q-Care Pharmacy, or by calling ‪1 (784) 497‑4049‬.
The dress code is white.

“We have included two of our most accomplished female artistes from different eras and genres to appeal to a wider audience, while at the same time maintaining our theme which recognises and celebrates the strength, resilience, courage, and achievements of our women,” Mr Primus said.

History of the Event

Mr Primus explained: “After I lost my mum in an untimely manner to COVID-19 in 2021, I was searching for something to ease the pain of her loss and to honour her memory. I believe that every mother should be honoured and feel special on Mother’s Day.”

He added: “Last year’s event was held under the theme ‘A Celebration of Mothers’. The colour code for the event was blue and featured Bomani and the band Silk. Patrons had a wonderful time and expressed their desire to return for the 2.0.”

“We are also partnering with NBC Radio to reward the best tribute to mum winners with prizes,” he said.
